About this recipe

I only post recipes that I have tried and verified and are good to my taste — all taste may vary.

Cut rolls with unflavored dental floss: slide it under, cross and pull. It slices clean without squashing the spiral.

Ingredients

Method

  1. 01

Mix milk, yeast, sugar, eggs and butter. Add flour and salt; knead 8 minutes until smooth and slightly tacky.

  2. 02

Cover and rise until doubled, about 1 1/2 hours.

  3. 03

Roll to a 16x12-inch rectangle, spread soft butter, sprinkle sugar-cinnamon, and roll up tightly from the long side. Cut 12 rolls.

  4. 04

Arrange in a buttered 9x13 pan, cover and refrigerate overnight (up to 16 hours).

  5. 05

In the morning, let rise at room temperature 1 hour. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes until golden (190°F inside).

  6. 06

Beat icing ingredients and spread on warm rolls.
