About this recipe

I only post recipes that I have tried and verified and are good to my taste — all taste may vary.

The sausage is already cooked. The skillet is only there to brown the cut faces and reduce the glaze onto them.

Ingredients

Method

  1. 01

Heat the oil in a wide skillet over medium-high. Brown the kielbasa on both cut sides, about 5 minutes. Pour off most of the fat.

  2. 02

Stir the sugar, mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, and pepper together and pour it in.

  3. 03

Cook, stirring, until the glaze is sticky and coats the coins, 3 to 4 minutes.

  4. 04

Move them to a bowl and serve with toothpicks.

Notes & swaps

  • These reheat in a skillet better than in a microwave, which softens the edges.
  • A pinch of chili flake in the glaze is the right move if the table likes heat.
